During the period from 2014 to 2020, I had the privilege of serving as the Quality Manager at the Reproductive Medicine Unit and Cryopreservation Bank of Genesis Clinic Athens. I collaborated closely with the management team to craft a quality policy and objectives aligned with the clinic’s mission and vision. This mission centered around placing our patients at the core of every decision and action.

Initially, we adhered to the rigorous standards outlined in the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015, ensuring our operations aligned with international best practices. Subsequently, we successfully transitioned to the EN 15224:2012 standard, a specialized framework tailored to quality management systems within healthcare service providers.

In my role as the Quality Management Manager, I oversaw all facets of the system’s implementation. I not only coordinated and participated in internal audits but also facilitated the certification process led by the Accreditation Body and the National Organization for Accreditation and Certification. Yet, it wasn’t just about ticking boxes – it was about creating an environment where patients felt safe, heard, and cared for. Year after year, we consistently achieved positive outcomes, affirming our commitment to upholding the highest standards.

I draw upon this role as it has granted me a profound understanding of the standards and care within the evolving field of medically assisted reproduction and technology. This journey transcended mere protocols and standards; it delved into the very core of patient care. Each story, every challenge, and every triumph have become integral to the commitment I carry with me—a promise of excellence that I extend to every patient I have the privilege to serve.
